Michael B. Grotell
Founder and Principal
Corporate Strategy, M&A, and Investor Relations professional Michael Grotell launched Ithron in January 2020. An investment banker and strategist, Michael has served on the financial and strategic side of the media industry, and on the media side of the financial industry. ​

He has spent his career on both sides of the table — operating inside the companies he now advises, and advising from the outside. He led strategy, corporate development, and operations at eMarketer for nearly a decade, spearheading the transformation that culminated in its $250M sale to Axel Springer, and subsequently supported Axel Springer's M&A and portfolio strategy. He has advised public and pre-IPO companies on investor and board communications, in collaboration with ICR Inc. and has worked on transactions from seed through strategic M&A and IPO.
